Working in a series provides the opportunity to gain a rhythm and momentum within our painting. As a result, we are able to more effectively develop visual concepts and ideas while achieving multiple images that are harmonious. By working small, students will be able to build a small body of work and will be supported in exploring new imagery while developing their own unique voice within the mode of abstraction.
