I LOVE collaborating with clients on special projects custom made for them! It's both fun and inspiring! Doing private commissions is an incredibly satisfying part of my work, as it involves careful listening, interpreting, collaborating, creating and then finally installing and letting these works become living, breathing objects of art within a home.

This can start as a simple phone conversation or back and forth over email to brainstorm different ideas, color schemes, and size options that best fit your budget. The first stage of the process involves getting a real sense of what you're looking for so that I can bring your dream to fruition.
Commissioned paintings can take anywhere from 3-6 months to complete, though depending on size and circumstance, they can be completed under shorter deadlines, per special request.
Pricing: The price of commissioned oil paintings on stretched canvas runs the rate of $4 per square inch. Upon commission project confirmation, a 50% deposit is due prior to beginning work.
The image shown is an example of a commission project that I did for a couple in Chelsea, NY. The project was essentially driven by color and space. It entailed three 6x3.5 foot paintings, that hang in their living room adjacent to their kitchen.
For clients with more constrained budgets, I can also sometimes create custom giclee prints that fit your size and space parameters, however, these run slightly higher than a normal print that is available a la carte.
